How TACCA Helped a Sustainability Professional Transform Carbon Reporting Confidence
When sustainability professionals step into carbon accounting roles, they often inherit processes, methodologies, and reporting practices that have evolved over time. While these systems may function well, one critical question remains: How can we continually strengthen and validate our approach against recognised best practice?
For Lowenna Cleary, a Sustainability Coordinator at Motorsport UK, this was exactly what she was looking to improve. Responsible for environmental sustainability initiatives alongside equality, diversity, and inclusion programmes, Lowenna had developed her carbon accounting capabilities largely through hands-on experience rather than formal training. While she had already established robust processes for collecting and reporting emissions data, she wanted to strengthen her technical knowledge and gain independent assurance that her approach aligned with evolving best practice and recognised standards.
